We do our best to keep you up to date with the latest Knowaste movements
The Hayes 180 site build is well underway. The building already has planning consent and is separate to our Change of Use application for an AHP recycling facility, which following a refusal we are now in the process of appealing to Hillingdon Borough Council.
Supporting Knowaste through this process is Alison Crooks, our planning advisor who is based at Integrated Skills Limited. Alison says "Our appeal factually challenges the reasons for refusing planning permission. We have tried to work with the Council to resolve their concerns, with an appeal being the last option available to us. We’re confident we have a good case to present which will hopefully result in a positive outcome.”
We have also submitted our permit application to the Environment Agency which is currently being considered.
Aside from Hayes, we are also investigating a number of other sites across the UK and will keep you posted with any advancements.
