Guardian Sustainable Business: Why nappy waste is ripe for going circular
With pressures on recycling targets continuing to rise, the circular economy remains high on the agenda. Most recently we were approached by founder of Go Circular and environmental journalist, Maxine Perella, who believes the circular economy has the potential to be a transformative change agent for sustainable business. A recent focus for Maxine was nappies and how this waste steam could be the next big hit for going circular.
Disposable nappy inventor Valerie Hunter Gordon dies aged 94
We thought it was necessary to pay a small tribute to nappy inventor, Valerie Hunter Gordon, who died on October 16th. Valerie created the first "Paddi" after having her third child, Nigel, in 1947 and becoming fed-up with washing traditional nappies. Read the full article here
